Looseness of a hammock, not permanent, sealed off, sterile.
Tactile existence, stimulating senses.
Less shelter, more exposure, to re-connect withoutdoors.
Senza Armatura, architecture of the skin.
Softness, woven patchwork quilted cocoon.
Intimate, only the essentials, not wasted space.
Back in the canopy, overcoming fear of heights.
An architecture in symbiosis with the wilderness,
not ready for the radiation or regolith of foreign planets, of an other life.
Can an architecture feel unsheltered, but still comfort?
Dwelling as a construct expressing the living of inhabitant, is inherently a personal act, by one’s own hand, and therefore, a right necessary to preserve existence, human being.
As artificial intelligence advances, technology hybrid human emerges, equipped to explore distant planets, of harsh environments, architecture will merge with the body, of the skin, withoutdoors.
Those who do not follow, of human, bodies still dependent on earth, of physical dimension, will still need an architecture of human measure, in function, but more significantly, of struggle, puzzle, to challenge body, mind and spirit, stimulating growth, continuation of humanity, that has been evolving toward this transition, numb, sterile, extinction, in need of an architecture withoutdoors, of this planet, of this life, where we find ourselves left with.
An A.I. house is not a human home.
